Really liked the hotel clean and comfortable Food good well managed meal times plenty of variety Quiet area No problem getting sun Lounger during the day as no reserving loungers allowed
All activities and entertainment were through spanish, very little English spoken which made it difficult for kids to join many activities

We really enjoyed our stay there and we will definitely be back soon
It was a lovely quiet area for us to relax and enjoy ourselves. It was a 10 minute walk to the beach and the bus stop was right outside the hotel

What was the highlight of Hotel Alone Cala Finestrat
Quiet, peaceful location, clean & tidy, food good, mainly for the over 60s.
Hotel was clean overall, food was varied and good, reception staff always helpful and friendly. Location was quiet and only a 20 minute bus journey to central Benidorm. Finestrat beach only a 10 minute walk away and plenty of shops and supermarket near by and a few bars
Felt a little bit like a 2nd class citizen as the hotel is oriented towards Spanish pensioners which isn’t mentioned on booking by booking.com, it was felt most in the restaurant as on a couple of occasions we weren’t even greeted or offered drinks by the staff yet every Spanish speaking customer was asked immediately on arrival what drinks they would like and greeted with open arms, we had to chase to get a bottle of water. Also tried to order a drink at the bar but this was frowned upon, they preferred you to sit down at a table and wait even if there was no one else about, also the lifts were a nightmare as majority of the time only one working and it stopped at every floor even with no one on the floors. A few rude guests pushing in and thinking they are more important than other guests but the hotel can’t help that, an elderly gentleman was waiting on a lift in front of us and a couple pushed past him and took the lift before he could get in !
